Scrapbook of family memorabilia compiled by Margaret Sutherland. Includes pen and pencil sketches of family members including William and Jane Sutherland; watercolours of houses, notably "Heronswood", Arthur's Seat and "Caulfield House"; and various landscapes; caricatures drawn in London in 1972; photographic portraits of family members including Ruth Sutherland and of Sophie Weiss and Dorian Le Gallienne; letters from Jane Sutherland, Dallas Sutherland (in Egypt in 1916), Geoffrey Blainey (re proposed collection of William Sutherland's articles), from Nellie Melba, Arnold Bax and John Shaw Neilson; also, notice of lecture by Alexander Sutherland, programme for Autumn Arts Festival, 1945, Constitution of Combined Arts Centre Movement and booklet outlining Arts Centre project. Dorian Le Gallienne was born in Melbourne on the 19th April 1915.
